Introduction
Survival Cantonese — These tutoring sessions conducted by Peer Tutors cover some basic day-to-day survival Cantonese for non-Cantonese speakers.
It is ideal for newly arrived non-Cantonese students. This programme is jointly organised by the Chinese Language Centre and CEDARS.
To register for the 3-week Survival Cantonese Programme, please log-in with your HKU portal ID and password
Instruction
Registration:
(1) Click [List] on the top menu bar and check the available modules
(2) Click the course code of the module in which you would like to enroll and then click [Register] to confirm
Your will receive a reminder 2 days before the commencement of the first practice session.
Please note that there is a huge demand on the programme. If you are unable to attend all three tutoring sessions, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so that another student may take your place.
Cancellation:
The deadline for making a cancellation via this registration website is 3 days before the commencement of your first practice session (before you receive the reminder from CEDARS);
To cancel a booking, please
(1) Click [Register History] on the top menu bar
(2) Click the [Cancel Registration] button
Important Note: You may be banned from other tutoring programmes organized by CEDARS-CoPE if you miss any of your tutoring session without a valid reason.
