Visit Highlights (tentative):

Deposit:
The tour is completely Free of Charge. You only need to provide a refundable deposit of HK$400*, which will be returned upon satisfactory completion of the programme.
The tour package covers round-trip transportation, costs for scheduled visits, meals, travel insurance and local transportation.

Completion of the programme requires:
Participants should guarantee the following FULL COMMITMENT and PARTICIPATION in the programme during the Reading Week:
• Pre-departure Briefing at 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm on 7 March 2025 (Fri) at HKU
• The full-day trip in Shenzhen on 13 March 2025 (Thu)
• Feedback survey
• Post-trip meeting at HKU at 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm on 14 March 2025 (Fri) with a presentation for a Team Report in English (including at least 5 photos/videos taken during the programme)
• An individual learning journal in English (300 words) to be submitted by 16 March 2025 (Sun)
• Maintaining a high standard of self-discipline and mutual support with other members of the programme.
• Maintaining proper behaviour and conduct, in terms of attitudes, language, participation and dress code.
*Selected sharing, photos or videos of the participants will be used in CEDARS website or social media for promotion.

Important Information for Applicants:
1. Successful applicants must confirm their offers with payment and sign the acceptance letter by the deadline in the offer email.
2. Ensure you have a valid travel document, such as a Home Return Permit (for HK citizens) or an Exit-Entry Permit or passport with a valid visa (for non-HK citizens). Participants will be required to submit a photocopy of such documents by 19 January 2025.
