GE2024-01
Our Happy Thursday – Tea from Around the World continues to bring you the very best opportunities to learn more about various countries’ tea (or any beverage, such as soup, chocolate, coffee) culture and meet your HKU peers in the new semester.
Student hosts from different countries and regions will be invited to share the beverage and snacks of their home, and to tell stories of their tea culture and own place!
CEDARS-GE has been curating this cultural exchange programme since 2017, and student hosts from all over the world including Australia, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mainland China, Morocco, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Vietnam have shared the tea and snacks of their hometown.
Time to expand our food map to your country, be our student host and share the tea and its culture!
