HKSAR - Post-secondary Student Summer Internship Programme

HKSAR - Post-secondary Student Summer Internship Programme

The Post-Secondary Student Summer Internship Programme 2025 provides internship placement opportunities for students who are permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and enrolled in full-time programmes offered by post-secondary institutions in or outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Bureaux/departments would advertise their internship placement opportunities (where applicable) on their respective departmental websites and CSB's website. In addition, they may make arrangement with individual post-secondary institutions to nominate students for the Programme. Students who are interested in the placement opportunities advertised may use the prescribed application forms as provided by individual bureaux/departments (where applicable) and submit their applications to the recruiting bureaux/departments or their respective institutions according to the methods as set out in the advertisements. To safeguard personal data privacy, students are reminded not to submit their personal data through other channels.

    Attention:

    • The job title should be clearly marked in the application form.
    • Students are reminded that file size of their application should not exceed 3 MB.
    • You are reminded to avoid last minute applications because the online system would likely be overloaded with large volume of applications on the closing date. This would render it impossible to make timely application.
    • Incomplete application will not be processed. Please refer to the job notice for the documents required for each Department / position.

    Remarks:

    • Screening will be conducted on a rolling basis. Students are highly encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible.
    • To ensure every eligible applicant has an equal opportunity to be nominated by CEDARS, students who have been nominated for one government department may have a lower priority to be nominated to another department. CEDARS may consider nominating one student for the second time when there is no other suitable candidate for a particular position.
    • Shortlisted students will be notified by CEDARS via email. Applicants who do not hear from us within three weeks after application deadline may consider their application unsuccessful.
