MTR Student Travel Scheme 2024/2025
Full-time students who have not yet reached 26 years of age may apply for the MTR Student Travel Scheme.
1. Online Application
Online application platform and MTR Mobile Apps are open for application from 15 August 2024.
For students who are holders of the previously approved Personalised Octopus with “Student Status”, the concession expired no earlier than 31 October 2024.
2. Eligibility
- Registered full-time students who have not reached 26 years old (an applicant's age is determined by the date the application is submitted*).
- Currently enrolled in a full-time day course ("Full-time day course" refers to a day-time course, which normally requires the participant to attend an acceptable local institution for not less than 20 hours of academic instruction each week for 30 weeks or more in an academic year).
- Registered full-time students who have not reached 26 years old (an applicant's age is determined by the date the application is submitted*).

Identity Proof Requirements
For New Applications, students could upload student identity card once available.
For students who will reach the age of 26 before the issuance of student card, the enrolment certificate of Academic Year 2024/2025 issued by the University will also be accepted as a special arrangement.
