While there is no strict age restriction for children, Chong Yuet Ming Cultural Centre (CYMCC) discourages attendance by children under the age of 6 as a courtesy to other patrons and the performers. All patrons must have a ticket for admittance, and in all instances babes in arms are not permitted. Any person who disturbs the performance or other patrons will be asked to leave the venues. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child’s age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performance.

Most performances at the performing venues have a strict policy of late seating. Guests arriving late or leaving the theatre during the performance will be seated in a designated section and may take their ticketed seats at intermission.

Please turn off all electronic devices that may ring, beep, vibrate, or otherwise produce a sound that may disrupt performances. Electronic devices include mobile phones and alarm watches.

Non-professional video and photos are allowed in the lobby areas of Yuet Ming Auditorium / Studio 303. The use of video, photographic, or any other recording devices is strictly prohibited during performances.

No food, beverage or smoking will be permitted in Auditorium. The campus of the University is statutory non-smoking area.

In the event of a theatre evacuation, look for the lighted exit sign closest to you and walk to that exit.

Please be aware there may be video recording and/or photography of audience members taking place throughout the day. By entering the theatre / Auditorium, you consent to your voice, image, and/or likeness being used, without compensation, by the CYMCC, in any medium of publicity or advertising, and you release the CYMCC, its members, agents, employees, and board from any liability.
