Have you ever wondered what factors make a city great? “We need to innovate feasible solutions and create a safe environment for enhancing people’s wellbeing.”
Ada and her passionate teammates created the award-winning project named “ENVTIN”. They aimed to design an environmentally friendly municipal building and provide a healthy place for residents to enjoy a wide range of recreational facilities while giving them a pleasant shopping experience. They tried to cater for people’s needs and improve their quality of life from the perspectives of hygiene, epidemic prevention and urban climate. “Nowadays, the pandemic has swept across the globe. We discovered that people may face deterioration of physical and mental health. We think we need to innovate feasible solutions and create a safe environment for enhancing people’s wellbeing. We also need to pay extra attention to the management of the complex and the anti-epidemic measures, like the crowd flow management, installation of smart anti-epidemic robots,” Ada noted.
“The competition has given me the precious chance to apply the knowledge I had acquired and to make contribution to the society.”

She also thought the key factor for their success is collaboration. “My team members are from different disciplines. I have learnt to listen to others and acquired better collaboration skills. Even though sometimes we had different opinions, we tried to discuss the problem together and reached a compromise. I am so thankful to have Jamie and Chak Pong as my teammates.” Ada said. She also expressed her gratitude to World Green Organisation for organising this competition and enriching her learning journey.
