你可能不認識誰是林奕華，但沒有關係，如果你不介意讓他來認識你，或，通過他的創意來讓你更認識自己。
二零二零年的學年和所有學年最不一樣，是從以往的「暫別了，課室」變成「好久不見，課室」。
如果過去半年因疫情關係和很多大學生一樣，你也是對課室由習以為常變了既熟悉又陌生，可能有點疏離但又有些好奇，因為，經歷半年社交隔離與視訊學習是不是孕育了一個不同於過去的「我」？
在重新面對課室時將會對它和自己都有更多想像？
如果你有機會站在一個空的課室面前，你會聽到它對你說什麼？
它又會聽到你回應它什麼？
空，真的是很什麼都沒有嗎？課室，真的只是座位和講堂嗎？
林奕華邀請約十位新生參加寓創作於經驗的一項活動：
正常情況下也許不會用心去看的一個空的課室，可能不止是個課室，而是經歷反常狀況下才有機會被你看見的，另一個「我」。
你有興趣帶一個「我」來找另一個「我」嗎？
「一人有一個課室」（On Empty Classroom）是林奕華繼 On Empty Theatre ( 和西九文化區自由空間合辦，30 位香港演員參與創作)，再度結合現場和錄像，和參加者一起經驗，「為什麼在空與無之前，人人都那麼不一樣」。
We have experienced a very special semester this year. Classes have been suspended for almost half a year. The Theatre Director, Mr. Edward Lam, now invites around 10 freshmen to reflect “self” and experience emptiness at a classroom without students and teachers.
“On Empty Classroom” is the second project combining the elements of live experience and video by Mr. Edward Lam after “On Empty Theatre” co-organised with Freespace, West Kowloon Cultural District. 30 Hong Kong-based actors were invited to co-create 30 short videos at an empty theatre in June 2020.
