Description: Our community (consisting of students from various disciplines and ethnicities) would love to provide mentoring and guidance for underclassmen in a small group setting throughout the year. We especially welcome incoming freshmen to join as we recognise and experience for ourselves how overwhelming and difficult transitioning to university life was! We’d love to offer you advice from our past experience and help out in different life aspects ranging from school courses, social life, personal growth, or even learning a new language! Don’t worry about the commitment, as this programme will only require you to meet up in groups of 2-3 once every 3 weeks. This programme will last from September - December 2020. This event is hosted by ACCESS, a student initiative on campus that welcomes and brings people from all different cultural and faith backgrounds into an English-speaking Christian community called LIFE Group. We are planning many welcoming activities for students to get to know HKU better, provide tips on university life, connect with other students, and experience life on campus together.
