of Acceptance for SUCCESSFUL Applicants: After the announcement of results at 16:00 on 19 August, 2024, an applicant who is offered a place must indicate acceptance of the
offer through the on-line
system of the HKU Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) è Login HKU Portal è select “SIS Menu” è select “On-line application” è select “Application for Resident Hall” è select “Application Status” by 17:00 on 20 August, 2024. The offer of admission will be
automatically withdrawn if a student fails to do so. Instruction on Appeal for UNSUCCESSFUL Applicants: Unsuccessful applicants who wish to appeal against the decision of
halls should submit their appeals through the on-line system of the HKU
Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) è Login HKU Portal è select “SIS Menu” è select “On-line
application” è select “Application
for Resident Hall” è select “Request for
Appeal” within 72 hours immediately following the announcement of the
results (i.e. 16:00 on 22 August, 2024).
