St. John's College

In the early years of HKU, all undergraduate students were required to reside in a hostel, as it was believed that hostel residence could complement university education in terms of character formation and all-round learning. Throughout its history, St. John's College, being the first residential hall of HKU, has strived to provide the highest quality of residential education to St. Johnians. The Mission of St. John's College is to nurture respectable future leaders.
