'The Making of ChangeMakers'
Our warmest welcome to the new semester at HKU from the General Education (GE) Team. We hope that your summer was both enjoyable and fruitful. 
Since 1995, GE has been providing non-credit courses and programmes to HKU students. Our holistic approach is borne out of our conviction to make interest-oriented learning as an important part of your campus life.

In this new academic year, we will continue to keep abreast with the current developments, both globally and locally. We are proud to co-present, with MaD (Make a Difference), the ChangeMakers ConFest. We will focus on two main themes, ‘New Public, New Space’ and ‘DIY Life Projects’. Speakers from Denmark, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will be invited to enlighten us. 

'The Making of ChangeMakers' is also the foundation for the different courses and talks under the eight banners: Personal, Lifestyle, Adventure, Politics, Popular Science, Business, F:A:C:E: (Fascinating Arts and Cultural Experiences), and, Happy 2gether.
 
We truly hope that you will check out these possible life-changing learning experiences. Lastly, the beauty of GE is that it is non-credit and stress-free. So, why not take a breather or break now and consider including us in your busy schedule. It will be worth it.
