展覽導賞及講座:香港跨代文化先鋒潘迪華女士
人稱潘姐姐的潘迪華,是一位香港跨領域的文化拓荒者,涉足娛樂、音樂與藝術,並持續啟發年輕的創作者們。是次活動由CHAT六廠(六廠紡織文化藝術館)策展團隊策劃,旨在透過展覽導賞及講座,展現這位巨星的音樂旅程、對香港流行文化作出的貢獻和啟迪;並從中學習潘姐姐那種靈活、優雅、柔韌的姿態,駕馭現實的處境,自律自愛,成為更好的自己。

Rebecca Pan is the Hong Kong cultural pioneer whose career spans across entertainment, music and art, and who continues to inspire emerging talents today.  Curated by the CHAT (Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile), an exhibition and a talk will explore the defining moments of transformation in Rebecca’s life and career as well as her contribution and inspiration in Hong Kong’s music culture.

她能在黑夜,給我太陽——獻給潘迪華 With the Sun, She Quells the Night – A Tribute to Rebecca Pan

以多樣的媒介和當代藝術,呈現潘姐姐極為珍貴的個人收藏品(包括照片、服裝、唱片、新聞剪報及私人物品),讓參觀者穿梭來回在歷史與現實中,見證潘姐姐演藝生涯中的每一個重要階段。

The exhibition rejuvenates the precious materials (photos, costume, music records, news clippings and more) through a variety of display methods and combines the historical material with the contemporary art of today. Together, the integrated exhibition experience creates a travelogue with the past and the present, Rebecca and us.

紅燈綠酒白孃孃:再訪潘迪華 Red Wine and Pai Niang Niang : Revisiting Rebecca Pan

從1930年代在上海的花樣青春到1950至1960年代建立蜚聲國際的音樂事業;從作爲艷壓舞台的表演者到成爲首齣華語音樂劇的創始人,從與潘姐姐的友誼出發,兩位講者吳俊雄博士及黃志淙博士將探索這位巨星的演藝歷程及不輕言放棄的熱忱,對香港流行文化的深遠影響及如何反照香港的變遷。

Join the engaging dialogue between two cultural studies practitioners, Dr. Ng Chun Hung and Dr. Wong Chi Chung to unveil the artistic career and life journey of Rebecca Pan from her rise to stardom in the 1930s Shanghai to her international music career in the 1950s to 1960s, from her enduring performance legacy to being a visionary producer of Hong Kong’s first Chinese Musical in early 1970s.
