學習書法像修行和練功，心急不來。既然不急，就從最基本啟始。先擺脫書法的固有框架，以「學慢、學細」切入：學執筆，而後學中鋒使力，紙上行鋒；圓滿寫好一橫劃，隨之一豎劃、一撇、一捺、一點，細節每每在其中。提與按，寫出字來，在箇中啟發自身。「見字知人」，的確有此意思。
兩節書法工作坊，自重新理解書法基礎原理出發，學習書法如何跟城市與生活攸關，細探書法基本：筆劃與結字，最終寫成一份屬意的小作品。書寫過後，將觀察養成樂趣，發現更新的視野，摸索生動的文字風景。
Learning calligraphy requires practice and patience. Everything starts from the basics – from brush to strokes to characters.
In this two-session Chinese calligraphy workshop, participants will explore the art of calligraphy and learn how to relate calligraphy to city and life. At the end of the workshop, you will create your own work; discover new visions and insights through writing Chinese calligraphy.
