GE2020-22
During difficult times, we all need space and time to rewind and rethink. "Happy Thursday" is a 90 minute programme where we will invite student hosts to tell stories about their own country while taking a sip of the freshly brewed tea from their hometowns. This time, student hosts from different countries will be invited to share the tea and snacks of their homelands online! Though you can neither take a physical sip of the tea nor a bite of their favourite snack, the story and food culture behind every student host is the most captivating, enchanting and inspiring.
GE has been curating this cultural exchange programme since 2017, and student hosts from China, Denmark, Egypt, France, India, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom have shared the tea and snacks of their hometowns.
