HKU Rooftop Farm (since 2013)
Starting in 2013, The HKU Rooftop Farm Project, co-organised with the Sustainability Office of HKU, aims to foster a sense of responsibility and connection to the natural environment by reconnecting people to farming as well as exploring the potential value of rooftops in a high-density city.
How to join?
Students and staff members are welcome to be our volunteer farmers and gardeners after completing a farming related programme organised by GE. To find out more about the projects, please join the Rooftop Farm's Monthly Community Day or the Herb Garden’s Wednesday Chill. Monthly Community Day is a gathering and co-working day for farming team members and others who are interested in the HKU Rooftop Farm. Newcomers are welcome!
