說吧，香港－－香港詩與詩中的香港 (讀詩會)
詩為合時而作，言志抒情都不只是詩人個人的事；香港一直處於大時代的風頭浪尖上，作為香港的詩人、書寫香港的詩人，是幸也不幸，無論如何總與這城市的歡笑悲哀相呼應。我城詩人廖偉棠和樂手將在讀詩會中分享他針對香港兩百年歷史創作的組詩《說吧，香港》，並講述和剖析《世紀‧香港》音樂會相關的十多首詩，帶領觀眾漫遊文本。

Poetry is not just a reflection of oneself, but also of the era in which it is written. Hong Kong has undergone tremendous changes over the centuries; how do our poets respond to the good and bad moments? Local poet Liu Wai-tong, the literary consultant of Hong Kong Odyssey will share his works, as well as the poems adapted for the concert. Accompanied by improvised music, this evening will take you through 200 years of Hong Kong in poetry.

廖偉棠先生 Mr. Liu Wai-tong
 
1975年生於廣東新興，後移居香港。香港作家、現代派詩人、攝影師、自由撰稿人，曾任書店店長及雜誌編輯。1991年開始詩歌寫作，其後涉獵散文、小說、戲劇、評論等範疇。曾獲香港青年文學獎詩組及散文組冠軍，香港中文文學獎散文組冠軍，詩組及小說組季軍；臺灣中國時報文學獎詩組首獎，聯合報文學獎詩組大獎；聯合文學小說新人獎及馬來西亞花蹤世界華文小說獎，香港中文文學雙年獎。曾出版詩集有《手風琴裡的浪遊》、《波希米亞行路謠》、《苦天使》、《少年游》、《和幽靈一起的香港漫遊》等，小說集《十八條小巷的戰爭遊戲》，攝影集《孤獨的中國》、《我屬貓》、《巴黎無題劇照》，評論集《我們在此撤離，只留下光》，批評合集《波希米亞中國》等。

Liu was born in 1975 in Xinxing, Guangdong Province and later emigrated to Hong Kong. He is a writer, modernist poet, photographer and freelance writer. He had also worked as a book shop manager and magazine editor. He began to write poems in 1991, and then his writing genres spanned from essays, novels, dramas, to criticisms. He had received the Hong Kong Youth Literature Awards in Poetry and Essay categories (both First places); the Hong Kong Chinese Literature Award in Essay (First place), Poetry and Fiction (Third places) categories; the China Times Literature Award Poetry Top Prize; the United Daily News Literature Award Poetry Grand Prize; the Unitas Literature Fiction Newcomer Award; the Malaysian Floral Trail Novels Award; and the Hong Kong Biennial Award for Chinese Literature. Publications include: the poetry volumes Wandering in the Accordion, Walking Songs of a Bohemian, Bitter Angel, Travelling When Young and With a Ghost Roaming in Hong Kong; a short story collection War Game in Eighteen Alleys; photography collections Lonely China, I Belong to Cats and Paris: Untitled Film Stills; essay collections Let’s Exit This Place, Leaving Only Light and Bohemian China (co- authored).
