Salsa, with its Afro-Cuban origin and Puerto Rican influence, became a popular social dance in New York during the 1970s, and it is now the most common social partner dance worldwide. Salsa is energetic, fast-paced, full of spins, turns, and sharp movements and it is lots of fun! In this course, you will learn the basic techniques of Salsa, and dance through the history and culture of Salsa. You will also get a chance to perform your own Salsa dance in the final session.

Mr. Ricci Yasin
Often credited as the pioneer of the Hong Kong Salsa scene, Ricci kick-started the Salsa dance back in 1997 by teaching, performing, running renowned Salsa events and organising the first two Salsa Congresses in Hong Kong. After a one-year trip around South America, Ricci has gained a wealth of Latin music and dance experience that makes him ready to share with anyone who is keen to learn.
Ms. Doris Tse
Impressing audience with her lady’s styling Salsa, Doris is one of the top Salsa instructors in Hong Kong. She has acquired intensive Salsa training through world-class workshops and has demonstrated her talent by winning many dance competitions. Doris is also the founder of Hong Kong Salsa Angels, a group of young, dedicated ladies committed to performing sophisticated and sexy dance routines.
