"MY FAVOURITE C.C. EATERIES"

As the construction of the Centennial Campus is in progress, the University would like to solicit input from the University community on what kind of catering outlets should be opened in the Centennial Campus. In the master plan, about 1,010 sq.m. of amenities space has been designated for the construction of 5 new catering outlets of different scale (small to moderate size) and mode of operation. It is now your time to voice out what kind of eateries are to your fancy or you are longing for. While some of the senior students and staff may not be able to enjoy the new facilities in the Centennial Campus, your valuable input would definitely help us developing a more diversified campus catering service and hence a better University experience for the University Community as a whole.

Just spend a minute and with a few clicks, prioritize and pick "MY MOST-WANTED C.C. EATERIES"; by completing the online survey at http://cedars.hku.hk/catering/2012poll.html, that is it! On behalf of the University and the future HKU current and future members, we would like to express our deepest thanks to your valuable input for excelling the Centennial Campus! Remember, your view counts! Cheers!!

Ban of Styrofoam Containers at HKU Catering Outlets

With effect from April 12, 2010, styrofoam containers will be banned at all HKU Catering Outlets and ONLY Eco-friendly meal containers will be provided for food to-go. Besides, a sur-charge of HK$0.50 will be levied on EACH to-go container (cup and pre-packed items excluded).

Thank you very much for your support in this green initiative. What's more for a greener Earth, go dine-in or bring-your-own-box (BYOB)!
